
Description
As part of L.E.S.T. Northwest, each participating school is invited to nominate one student from their school that models and strives to live as a Champion of Character. The Champions of Character representative from each school must be a sixth, seventh, or eighth grade student participating in at least one L.E.S.T. Northwest event. As part of the L.E.S.T. Northwest opening or closing ceremonies the L.E.S.T. Northwest Champion of Character recipient will be given an award and will be recognized by L.E.S.T. Northwest for their positive leadership.

Nomination Process
Each school participating in the Champions of Character Award should:
- Select one L.E.S.T. Northwest participant from grades six through eight. The selection process is determined by each school’s L.E.S.T. Northwest coordinator and/or faculty.
- List the L.E.S.T. Northwest events/competitions in which the student is participating on the Champions of Character Nomination Form.
- Write a description (no longer than 50 words) that tells how the selected student models the Champions of Character values in their life.
- Open the Champions of Character Nomination Form using the button below. Download the linked Word document, complete it electronically, and submit to L.E.S.T. Northwest Director Mary Schuldheisz at the email lestnorthwest@gmail.com no later than January 17, 2023. A photo of the nominee should also be included in that email.
